Privacy notice
What we collect, and why.
Last updated October 17, 2026.
The short version
We collect only what you choose to send us. We do not add cookies, analytics or advertising trackers to this site. We never sell your information.
What you send us, and what we do with it
- Join the list. Your email address. We use it to send our letter and to invite you to private tea experiences.
- Send a nomination. Your name, the place or person you are nominating, their city and country, your email address and your reasons. We use these to consider the nomination and to write back to you.
- Emails you write to us. We keep them to answer you.
Who handles it
Our website host, Netlify, stores the form submissions for us and, like any web host, receives your IP address and browser type when you load a page. When we begin sending the letter through a mailing service, we will name that service here. We share your information with these service providers only so they can run the site and the letter for us.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it for the purpose above. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to leave the list, write to hello@aromashi.com. A reply that says "unsubscribe" is enough.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top.
